issues with spotify on wine

hello, i'm trying to install spotify on my laptop, that is running arch linux. building from the aur doesn't work, so i tried installing it under wine, but it gives me the following error:

 

please install using a normal account instead of an administrator account

Do you really want the app? The web version could suit you just fine? I haven't gotten into trying wine yet.

i would like to have the ability to download songs to my ssd. i use my laptop a lot on trains, and other places that have crap wifi....

well if you have your laptop too, just charge via USB while you listen

I don't have experience with Arch Linux... but you aren't root user right?

I don't know what kind of issues you are having building from AUR, but I only had to manually verify 2 GPG keys and everything went smoothly onwards. The commands I used were:

 

gpg --recv--key 5CC908FDB71E12C2 (this one took about 20 seconds)

gpg --lsign 5CC908FDB71E12C2

gpg --recv--key D9C4D26D0E604491

gpg --lsign D9C4D26D0E604491

 

Run them and try building spotify from AUR again

gpg: invalid option "--recv--key"
