New PC not booting

    I just added a new motherboard and graphics card to my computer and it refuses to boot. I replaced the Mobo bc the old one had gotten damaged (the pcie slot) and I replaced the graphics card bc it was time for an upgrade from the r9 380. The first time I booted it with all my components everything seemed to be working, all fans were spinning but nothing was showing up on my screen. (Using Display port) My power LED and Motherboard lights were red. My razer chroma devices weren't doing their chroma thing either. I tried removing the GPU and then my system refused to boot or even power on. None of the fans are spinning, and no lights were on. Any help?

try connecting display to mobo instead.

Try taking out the GPU, clearing CMOS, then trying to boot off iGPU.

Consult the manual to see where the CMOS is it is usually a circular battery but there can be a button at the back of the Mobo but it most likely be a battery

   I don't think my motherboard came with a jumper, I might just bring it into my local computer store

I cleared CMOS, tested ram, PSU, GPU, and narrowed the problem down to my cpu or motherboard. I read somewhere that adding too much thermal paste on your cpu will make it unable to work, and i added more than usual when I built my pc :( At least I still have warranty on both my motherboard and CPU

Only applies if the thermal paste is conductive, and most thermal paste these days is not.
