Hey all! I just dual booted Kubuntu 17.04 and Windows 8.1 (both partitions on my SSD) and it told me to restart. I did, but it boots straight to windows without showing me grub or anything.

 

The first time I booted to windows, I could see kubuntu in windows explorer but I can't anymore. I opened up MiniTool Partition Wizard, here's a screenshot: CjuEdfS.png

(Disk 2 is my SSD if you couldn't tell)

What do you mean by chroot? I thought it was locking a user into a directory...

change root. 

 

Mount your patition sin a live disk, chroot into where / should be, then grub-install

Ahh. Are there any good tutorials?
