Please help! NVMe Drive Won't Show

I have a Aorus z270x Gaming 8 Motherboard and I'm trying to install a Samsung 960 Evo M.2 ssd as a boot drive but it wont show as a boot drive. I think it must be something conflicting in the BIOS but I don't know enough about it to fix it. I don't think its a bad drive because it shows up under the bios option "intel rapid storage technology" as a non-RAID drive and under the "EZ RAID" option. I really don't know much about the BIOS and need help. Gigabyte was literally no help.

Hmm, strange...

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later

Spoiler

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

I had a simmilar problem on my z170 Deluxe. I solved it with setting the M.2 Slot to pcie-mode from sata-mode. After changing it I could install Windows.
