My brother's computer has been unactivated for some 3 months now and it doesn't do that. I suspect you might solve it by formatting the HDD and reinstalling as much as that's a hassle.

Oh fuck no. You care about your business because every penny you put into it, you'll make back. On a business I see no option other than getting a legit copy from Microsoft themselves or an authorized retailer e.g. Amazon. The stakes are too high.

I only know of it doing it on windows 7 and 8. 7 would just kick you out of full screen but 8 minimized the program
