Can you overclock with CoolerMaster hyper 103?

chexor

I got CM hyper 103 for free from a friend, and im using i5 2500k.

After 20 mins of aida64 stresstest im getting around 49-50c max temp. Can i push it to 4.5 Ghz?

Depends on your own preferences. Under stress my limit is 87C on hottest core. Overall under 85C under full stress is good. You don't see stress temps in regular use anyway.

4.5Ghz on hottest core im getting 73c max, but today i crashed 4.5ghz on 1.3v, so i lowered clock on 4.3, i might increase vcore a bit to get stable 4.5.

Have you ever encountered issue "gray screen", today while regular web browsing pc crashed (due to overclock i guess, becuase my gpu is new, 2 weeks old, and i have never had same problem when i was at stock cpu speed).

While browsing shound bagged (loud tone) and on monitor i had gray screen with dots (same like old TV's when lose signal)?

Thats usually GPU issue. Have you watched how GPU temps react to CPU temps raising. In smaller case, or smaller cooler GPU might get hot along with CPU.

GPU was under 45c that's for sure, because i could see "fan stop" light on, which means fans did not spin=under 45c.. Might have to do with adapter HDMI to VGA, i lost signal from gpu because cpu crashed pc, so adapter couldnt display anything (there's some electronics in that adapter, so that could explain gray screen/lost signal)
