Picture 1, but leave it how it is.

Front to back airflow is always good, IMO.

Picture 2, BUT flip the top left intake to an output fan.

Nope

the first one because positive air pressure

Nope

the first one because positive air pressure

Positive air pressure is good in a case where you want the output of air to be passive (all intakes), usually better for smaller cases.  In a larger case, you just want the air moving and having that rear fan as an intake, especially that top fan as intake as you suggested, will create a much more turbulent airflow.  Then main goal of airflow for a gaming focused build is to get hot air away from the GPU as quickly as possible so the only air it pulls through the cooler is cold air.

More fans does not mean better air flow.

What you want is:

- air coming in the front, and hot air coming out

- Get appropriate fans for case and heasink/radiator. They are not the same fans, for an optimized setup

- Large 120mm fans is plenty, and great size for cooling, and quietness.

- For high heat systems, or high overclock over air, get 2 fans for the front. One at the bottom for providing fresh air to the GPU and other cards, and the other for the CPU. The long GPU will act as a split.

So in your case, Option 1 is the best, if you reverse the direction of the top fans to out.

Second looks better. Hot air goes up...

I probably go for the first one....

Thx for all the help :D
