Did I just installed virus on my pc?

So i was playing a game on steam, I decided to shift tab for while, went to a pornsite and its actually my first time watching porn on steam browser! the some pop ups has no X button sa i had to press ok, I did 3 times and a random music started playing in the background! I cant find any open browser!!! i closed the game and the sound is still there! I exit steam and its finally gone... my question is wtf was that? Do i have virus now?

I guess yes. Do you have any weird processes in the task manager?

Also have you tried to do a quick scan on your pc to see if there's any virus?

I'll suggest you use malwarebytes since it's pretty good.

It's chrome tab open but you may have a virus run Windows defender and update to the lastest windows update

No, this is just a steam browser. I think, it was always more outdated and slow, even compared to IE.

there isnt any chrome tabs opened, i was using steam browser...

Indeed the antivirus program slows down the PC but it is worth giving a try and scan your pc for any malicious apps and remove them if the computer is infected. If not you could simply uninstall that program and let it go.

Not that normal. But check if there are game cracks them there's no threat.

No I was asking to see what kind of virus it is. Not that I want to infect myself but was more like seeing to avoid it in the future and to get better understanding of the question that OP is asking
