I just finished my build and I put an h100i in an arc mini r2. Problem is that the stock rear fan is too thick so I need a good silent slim fan. Around 12mm.

Which one should I get? Preferably white or red to fit the colour scheme of the build but not super important.

If it doesn´t fit my only advice is that it is mounted wrong and you need to take it out again.

I have a H100i in my arc 2 midi I don't see what your problem is, I have my fans running above the radiator pulling the heat away from it, so I get nice clean looks so I don't see what your problem is.

I'm talking about the rear exhaust 120mm fan, not the two fans that I use for the h100i. I have the radiator mounted in the top and the gap from the back part of it to the back of the case is too small for the standard chassis fan to fit.

Btw I've got the arc MINI r2, not midi.

Do you have the tubing faced towards the rear or the front?

To fit a proper fan, you will have to face the tubes towarss the front of the chasis. It should work as I've seen pictures of a 3x rad up top and thick single rad on the back.

This was on the ARC MINI R2. Check linus' fractal design booth coverage that showcases the mini r2.

@Epikas @DrunkAssassin @Titanicium @ExconHD

The tubing is facing front. I have the optical drive bay still installed I needed that for my mechanical HDD. I can't push the rad closer to the optical drive bay as I only have 11mm gap and no holes on the top for the screws line up. And I only have 15mm from the rear to the rad. This is, as far as I am concerned the only way you can top mount the rad in this case without taking out the optical drive bay. So, thats why I needed a slim fan. :-)

Last pic is the 120mm fan that came with the Arm Mini R2.
