I'm a fairly experienced builder but this Ryzen 5 build has me stumped unless I just have REALLY bad luck.

New build, everything powers on, lights on board, all fans spin, all fans and graphics card light up and even the RGB RAM lights up...my mother detects an HDMI cable is connected when I power on, but eventually says no signal and goes to sleep.

I have tried 2 different RAM sticks, a single 8gb stick of Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000mhz. And a single 8gb stick of Gskillz Trident Z EGG 3200mhz.

I have tried 3 different graphics cards known working, and tried HDMI to motherboard only.

Have tried 2 known working HDDs and no HDD

I have reseated every cable, cpu and GPU a number of times and I have cleared CMOS...

I think I ran out of ideas, either that or my brain is to fried now to think of it...ive already sent 1 Ryzen 5 cup back because of a missing pin, my luck would have to be real bad for the replacement to be dead.

Base system is

Ryzen 5 1500x

MSI X370 Gaming Plus

SeaSonic M12II Bronze EVO 520W

Sapphire RX 580 4gb

16gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000mhz.

(Also used Gskillz TridentZ RGB,  since TridentZ RAM is on the qvl for Ryzen 5)

Any thoughts anyone? First Ryzen build so maybe theirs something I'm missing or some incompatibility I don't know about...let me know please, pictures if needed

To answer all current questions...yes have cleared CMOS, TridentZ RAM  is on approved list...and to asked if a PSU issue, I don't see why it would be...everthing powers on just fine, and the entire system shouldn't draw anywhere near 520w...and no, it does not POST

Is the HDMI cable connected to the GPU? Ryzen has no integrated graphics.

Yes, still no

I suppose your CPU or motherboard is dead? Try getting another Ryzen chip/ motherboard (and replace the respective part.).  I don't know what else to do.

I got it to work...28 hours later....turns out I HAD to use a single stick of RAM in the opposite slot that the motherboard said, AND drop my RD 580 to the second PCIE slot at the same time just to boot....ridiculous...but after original boot, I moved RAM back, added more and moved GPU back to top slot and still worked just fine....just that first boot was REALLY weird...like backwards weird....thanks for all the input everyone....if your doing a Ryzen 5 build especially with 5xx series graphics, keep an open mind out for weirdness.
