AMD gpu for 144hz?

what's atm the best AMD gpu for 144HZ 1080p resolution? I manily play Six Siege with GTX 970 and I average around 150fps. but ofc i play some other games when they come out and delete them. would rx 580 be fine?

RX 580 if you have to buy an AMD card, that card is about 15-25% faster than gtx 970 depends on games, some games only see minimal increase but some games will see massive increase.

 

But overall RX 580 > GTX 970

 

Fury is a more powerful card no doubt but also cost you some extra not-small amount (i'm talking new, not second hand)

If you have either 970 or 980 I'd still wait for next gen. Maxwell is still a great performer

I wouldn't upgrade anything from a 970. Wait for Vega, the RX 580 is only like 20% faster, and I wouldn't say it's worth the money or trouble.
