Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler-Thermal Paste

Hello all.

I have a ryzen 7 1700 with a corsair h60 liquid cooler and was intending to overclock the ryzen most of the time. (Gaming, music production)

This is my build for those interested:

Was wondering if it's worth it to remove the pre-applied thermal paste and purchase new paste (recommendations please) or if the stock pre-applied thermal paste will do.

Thanks!

Ry

new paste always put on new thermal paste because the paste that comes with the cooler is crappy

I have the Corsair H60 and I installed it with the pre-applied thermal paste without any problems. Pre-applied thermal paste is perfectly fine.

Nope, unless he has the extra money that he doesn't care about itll only make a 1-3 degrees difference. Unless he gets a really good and expensive one. Pre applied is perfectly fine.

Interesting...

I was just about to head out to pick up arctic mx4. I don't mind spending the extra $12.

I will be overclocking the cpu, for gaming and music prod. Even with this in mind, you would say pre-applied will work fine?

Please let me know asap :)

Thanks
