I am planning on getting the Asrock Z270 Super Carrier mobo and i would like to get the bequiet dark rock pro 3 cpu cooler but i do not know if it is compatible with that specific mobo (for example does it cover any PCIe slots or the RAM slots etc...)

i just need to know if there will be clearance for the ram or the gpu and the such or is there another cooler out there that is the same size to compare it too? (it looks bigger than a noctua)

Why use RGB RAM in a case without a side window?

long as you have fairly low profile ram( you do), your (ugly) case should be able to support it.

i don't really think the ram i am getting is low profile (is it?). and i looked at some specs thanks to some random yt vid and the dark rock pro 3 is a few cm smaller than the noctua dh 15 so that is good but i guess i will just have to hope for the best when getting all these components

that is sadly the case, your setup most likely will work.

You could always go with a different cooler such as the Cryorig R1 Universal or H5 Universal as they both have 100% Ram clearance. Looks as nice as the Dark Rock 3. You would need to find out the cpu cooler height for the case though to make sure they will fit. The H5 is 160mm and the R1 is 169mm according to pcpartpicker.
