ok so i upgraded my I5 4690K to an I7 4790K finaly(havent dont proper overclocking because cooling but it boots and passes CB 4.8GHz at 1.25V) but i noticed that if i start it without first compleatly draining the power it tends to hang when loading BIOS and chanegeing something in the BIOS and hitting F10 will also sometimes cause this when it starts up again. it just gets stuck loading the BIOS and no inputs seem to work, sometimes you can get into the BIOS but then you have the same problem when you boot again and the only way to get the computer to reliably boot seems to be flipping the PSU switch and holding the power button for a  few seconds before turning it on again. this is probably going to be a massive problem for me seeing as i tend to keep the computer in deep sleep or whatever when im not around and it loads the BIOS again when i open it again, if thats going to start hanging then its going to be pretty anoying to use the computer... so if anyone knows what is causing it that would be great to hear so i can fix it when i get home :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
