Keyboard input lag/delay every few seconds while typing.

Just like the title says while typing the letters will not appear for a half a second then appear all at once. I know this isn't a display problem because while gaming the keys seem sticky as if I am holding them down while obviously not. This is not a new keyboard, my keyboard filters are off for all ease of access settings on windows 10, and I have tried switching the keyboard to a different USB port on the IO. This happens in different apps, browsers and games.

Any ideas?

this is me typing with the delay you can see when i type quickly it will stop showing what i am typing then catch up in half a second

Is it a wireless keyboard? Could be some interferece from wifi, other Bluetooth devices, etc

no, and I have a 6700k so that shouldn't be a problem

nope, wired k70 rapidfire

Try a different keyboard, if that one doesn't do it, it's most likely an issue with your main keyboard.

 

If that doesn't fix it, try running Linux off a flash drive and test in there, that can tell you if it's something in Windows
