Project Carbon (Finished)

I'm thinking of changing the CPU cooler for a quieter one since this is too loud. The case can easily fit a 120mm fan. Not sure about a radiator but I've got a friend who has a CM Seidon that he is willing to get rid of so I might take it off his hands if it fits otherwise I'm open for suggestions. There should be about 64mm of room for a cpu cooler.

Finished a tiny bit today considering my Dremel has the worst battery life. My dad won't buy me a Dremel 100 so I'm stuck with the crappy 7700. I decided to spray paint it black (not in any of the pictures) and do a carbon fiber vinyl on it. Which is why I changed the name to Project Carbon.

Some new pictures of the briefcase now spray painted in black. I really do need to take more pictures of the process though. If you're wondering where I got the mesh from, it was from a side panel of an old computer case I had lying around. I have to admit, I did not measure the mesh well enough.

Internals of the briefcase is actually in my opinion pretty damn clean for how much power and how big the psu is.

The fan controller really does make it look really good though.

Bought the carbon fiber vinyl for the briefcase, if only amazon offered 1 day shipping, believe me it was not an option.

Final Update, the briefcase is done and I have already brought it to my friend's houses and through school. It survived and it works well!

Pictures aren't that good but I will borrow my friends' DSLR to take some pictures. Lighting is crap too because I have only 1 light, which sucks, doesn't make it better that it is dark as hell outside and it is snowing. Hopefully school will be closed tomorrow so I can get my friends' camera and take better pictures. Note that there is some silver on the steel skeleton because I spray painted it black but some of it scratched up so I need to respray paint. I'll most likely do it in the spring so the paint comes out better and it doesn't rain.

Carbon Fiber Vinyl came today!

i'll just get a lianli with a handle. probably the set up will decrease the life span of the components. probably the Rev. 2 will look better dont you think?

Yeah without a doubt the Rev. 2 will look a lot better. I'm still a beginner to modding/custom cases and this is my second one. Granted this would look better if I had the right tools but it works and does the job. I don't understand how this would decrease the life span, it won't really overheat because there are separate intakes and exhaust for each component that needs it.

I like the concept i really do! (:

And the only way to get better is trial and error and fi the companies don't have what you want, then we make it our selfs! (;

Good work man!
