Chrome being odd

So I am a chrome user with 8GB of RAM. I am just playing Cities Skylines, and I get a out of memory issue. I go into task manager and find chrome using up 2-4GB of RAM, with Cities eating the rest up (when it was on). Everything was closed when I was playing.

Try firefox and report back? (It's my only answer, as I stray far, far away from chrome)

My firefox instance is logged in into my old account which was banned because I made this one. Clearing cookies and other stuff dosen't work

I have to go through task manager to kill on the processes. They don't close after i close chrome.
