if you havent got the i5 yet, then can i suggest you get ryzen instead, it will be better value for money. if not, then the asus z170a is currently the most used motehrboard, and the gpu depends on the resolution and settings you want to play at

GTX 1060 6GB or RX 480/580 8GB or GTX 1070 if you can spend more

Any H110/B150/H170/B250/H270 mobo will do its job.

im from the philippines, my problem is ryzen is hard to find here heheh

ah if thats the case, then thats fine, it was only a suggestion. what resolution do you plan to play at?

rx 580. its cheap and gets the job done. it will pair well with that 6th generation processor (quad core) so you are golden with that card

i like to play at 1080p to 1440p. i think 4k gaming is too overkill for me

if thats the case, then a 1070 would be good, or if you are an AMD guy, an RX 480 (for 1440p) or the 1060 and rx 470 (for 1080p). as you are not looking to overclock, either get a b150 or h110 motherboard, depending on your needs you can choose between them.
