All B350 and X370 boards can overclock, which are the overwhelming majority of boards.

A320 boards can't OC, but that's because they are meant for super low-end systems and prebuilt, and usually have something abominable like 2 phases or something, so you wouldn't want to OC on an A320 anyway. All Ryzen CPUs are unlocked, and I'd suggest a 1600 instead of a 1600X, as it comes with a cooler, and is basically the same when both are overclocked. as for a motherboard, the MSI B350 PC Mate seems really nice and cheap.

don't be fooled by the ''X'' and get the R5 1600 it's the same CPU assuming you'll overclock both of them a bit anyways and as a bonus the R5 1600 comes with a cooler which could be useful down the road if your AIO fail or something...

im running a Asrock AB350m Pro4 (same as the normal pro4 just mATX) last BIOS update fixed some of the ram speeds, but all in all great board, easy OC to 4Ghz on it, 9power phases (6 on CPU) 2x m.2, really worth a look at, cheap with ALOT of kit to give, would defiantly recommend
