Need help with my microphone in Windows 7

I have a Blue Snowball iCE and just recently my computer just mutes my mic without me doing anything. I'll try to unmute it and turn the volume levels back up to 100 but after 1 second it gets reset to muted. I didn't do anything to change the settings and I need help ASAP.

could be some app that's muting the mic, or your keyboard that has a mute function or some kind of scroll sensor ?
