Doesn't matter, it'll be fine.

It's listed.

NCASE M1 V5

Get a 240mm rad instead, you want the cooling

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

IIRC it just needs a BIOS update

i thought it was just if using a 7th gen cpu on a 6th gen motherboard could be fixed with a bios update not the other way round. i may be wrong

No, its the 7700k on a Z170 board that may need it. Z270 boards will accept a 6700k just fine.

For the OP, I would vote going with a 240mm AIO since that case accepts them and youd get much better overclocking with that.

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED
