yes, what i am saying is they wont go into 2 parts. if i unscrew it from a gpu or pump or whatever it wont go into 2 parts so i can put the second part onto my tubing to make a secure fit

compression fittings for hardline tubing. i can't take it apart so i can secure my tubing in it.

Yes, we need more information though, a brand name, or model number.

There are kind of hardline fittings that don't come apart and are just friction fit, we can determine if that is the case with more details.

no half of them are coming apart like they are suppose to. they are all the same kind of compression fitting. i am just looking for a way to take apart the stubborn ones. i'm cutting my up finger trying to get them apart.

Maybe others have had the same problem... Maybe some have a good solution. But without knowing what kind of fittings you are using, we all would have to gues. (and I would gues plyers and a piece of cloth anyways)

You can try and use a pair of pliers and protect the threads and ring section using thick tape to try and unscrew it or use an allen key for those kinds to hold the barb with a pair of pliers on the ring.

Those aren't hardline compression fittings just to mention they are for soft tubing.

compression fittings for hardline tubing.

From the link you gave us: EK-ACF Fitting (Advanced Compression Fitting) is a soft-tube compression fitting, designed for use with flexible soft tubing.

Me thinks you are a liar. In any case, I would still recomend plyers, and a piece of cloth. (cloth to protect the metal from scratches)

Same as the others then you can use a 9mm allen key to insert into the splines of the barb section and use a pair of pliers to take the ring off.
