Monitor Suggesstion.

Disclaimer: First post.

 Hi everyone,

I built my Gaming PC recently. Currently I am using a Samsung 27" TN 1ms 60Hz  monitor. I am looking for a monitor upgrade, preferably ultrawide 34". I found few  2560 x 1080 LG monitors with 75Hz or 100Hz Freesync but not anything with Gsync. Can someone recommend a good 34" ultra wide monitor that can be powered by a GTX 1070. I am not a pro gamer but willing to become one :D

Config : i7-7700k, 16 GB RAM, Zotac GTX 1070 mini, Asrock Z270 Killer SLI mobo.

Current monitor : Samsung S27E330.

it gets on 80hz using display port, best 2560x1080p there is right now, panel is gold; IPS Matte, super high quality images and perfect pixel density.

2560x1080p IS NOT a 34inch resolution, it'll get severily pixelated and crappy pixel density that you might as well as buy a 42 inch 1080p tv as monitor.

Gsync ultrawides only come in 1440p and are very expensive and you probably aren't going to be able to afford one. Get the monitor candence recommended.

Out of curiosity, how did you like your current monitor? Specifically the size and resolution. For a lot of people 1080p looks bad on 27" because of the low pixel density but I want to know what your think.

This is my first monitor. I wasn't planning to build a PC when I bought this. But now I feel I need a better one for gaming.  So do you think, 29" UW 1080p is better than this 27" 1080p?

Because I dont think my GTX 1070 would power up 34" UW 1440p. Damn I should've got GTX 1080!

No, it has a smaller screen area than 27" 16:9.

But honestly, if you lower some settings to medium-high, you could probably be able to play even the most intense games on 3440*1440p with a 1070.

That makes sense. I am gonna try a 34" 1440 with my GTX 1070 and see how it works.

Now the only question in my mind is, should I go for a GSync one or non-Gsync one because of the cost :|

If you can afford it right now or soon then sure, but those cost around $1000. If not, then don't bother and get what you can now.
