NO, KEEP THE SETUP JUST REPLACE THE 980 WITH A GTX 1080TI. The 7700k would be an improvement over the 5930k. But for what its worth I would honestly just stick with 5930k. In the future as more multi-threaded cpus are better supported it will be better.
