Hello, using 24GB (6x4) DDR3 @ 1866MHz on an X79-Deluxe board. 3 dimms on one side, and other 3 on other side of CPU (see pic in signature). I want to overclock my memory to 2133MHz, but I am not sure which timings to change, and what the new values should be.

Here's the current timings/voltage I run @ 1866MHz. I tried to change to 2133MHz with the 1866 timings, it booted into windows, but bluescreen when I opened chrome :P
As you can see on the pic below, going from 1600 to 1866MHz RAS# to CAS# latency increased from 9 to 11, if that helps in any way. Any help would be appriciated :)

overclocking your ram is horrible to do. like sure, you get a coupple  more fps, but honestly the hours of stresstesting and validation and so on are just not worth it. if you still insist on doing it then the timings you change would be CAS and comandrate. more cas = easier to run but less preformance because latancy and the comand rate isnt super important but 1T is the best but 2t is also good. put the RAM voltage at 1.65V max. my 2x8GB of 1866MHz RAM would not boot anything above 2102MHz so know that there are sometimes hard limits to what your RAM can do.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
