i am looking for a cheap enough b350 mobo that will last

it will be paired with a r5 1600

i was going to buy asus prime b 350 but i read some reviews about the asrock Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4 and that is better. is it? so am getting that

The Asrock Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4 does not support Ryzen. It is for Intel 1151 cpu's. You need a b350 or x370 motherboard for Ryzen.

The B150 Gaming K4 is for Intel socket 1151 CPU's. I assume you meant the B350 Gaming k4?

I got an MSI B350 Mortar (mATX), I still have to find something wrong with it. The only thing is that I still can't reach 3200MHz RAM even with the latest BIOS (should be fixed this month I hope)

Looking at the Asrock website, the B350 Gaming K4 hasn't received a lot of love with BIOS updates, although the Asus B350 Prime has received quite a few.

The Asrock B350 Gaming K4 received the Agesa 1.0.0.4a update over 3 weeks after the Asus board.

There are still quite a few major fixes due from AMD, that will be released via BIOS updates, based solely on the update history I would go for the Asus board as it appears to have better ongoing support.
