Upgrade from old machine

Hello, guys.

I'm planning to upgrade a friend's pc and want a little advice.


First of all, I live in a country in which pc components are very expensive, therefore you'll be looking at a budget oriented workstation.

Second, the pc will be used as a rendering machine for Lumion and occasionally Vray. I can't afford a X99 platform because that's off the budget.

 

Current setup:
CPU: Intel Xeon X5472 x1
MOBO: Dell ORW199

RAM: 8GB DDR2 (don't know frequency nor timings)

GPU: GeForce 9800GT
Don't know what PSU is currently inside. Not that it matters tho.

 

New setup:
CPU: Intel core i5 7600
MOBO: Asus H110M-A
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 FW 6GB
RAM: 8GB Corsair Value
PSU: EVGA 600W 80+ White
HDD: 1TB 7200rpm
Chasi: Corsair Carbide 88R

 

Will it be enough for at least Lumion rendering?

I know I should include an SSD, I'm aware of that. But that is a bit in the future, but it'll be done.

Give me your thoughts.

Not really. There are very limited AM4+ boards out here :/
I will change the PSU. I hate the local stock because all they have are EVGA and Thermaltake low-end ones.

Hm ok then. Just be aware though that you have a small chance of the CPU and mobo not working if the mobo has an older bios on it.
