Gelid vs Noctua for radiators

Hi all

I'm currently in the process of building my computer and will be watercooling it in a few months with a H220. I know Noctua makes great fans that are silent and have good static pressure for radiators, but the coloring... I was looking at Newegg for some fans and came across Gelid FN-FW12-15-B http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835426018 which looks really nice. But I was wondering what is the static pressure like compared to Noctua's? If Noctua's are a lot better, I'll get them, but if Gelid's temp are a degree or 2 higher than Noctua's I'll choose Gelid. Thanks! :)

Oh, and good luck to everyone that entered Linus' and Intel's contest. :)

The difference in performance could be nothing. The difference is the noise output when running at those speeds.

Do you know what the difference in noise is between the Gelid and Noctua? Thanks. :)

I just looked at the AP121, Iike the transparent blue UV blades on it. I also noticed the AP123, does anyone know how that compares to the AP121 on a radiator?

The Gelid look to be decent fans for static pressure - but not sure just how quiet overall they are in comparison to the Noctua. As for the AP123 - these have a even lower SP value, but are supposed to designed to really eliminate noise. I have seen a couple of reviews proving this... and some disproving. :)

Hopefully Linus gets a few in shortly to test...
