2017 is an exciting year for laptops wth kaby lanke and nvidia pascal. However, with a lot of options it is hard to make a decision. 

 

I will be using the laptop I get for school

 

Features I need:

Good battery life, 6 hours minimum

Portable, 2kg ish

Good for programming, good cpu and ram

Good keyboard/trackpad

windows

 

Features I want

Casual gaming, city skylines/minecraft higher end games at lower settings

Metal construction

Looks Professional

 

Nice to haves

Widows hello

Asus zenbook pro ux550(gtx 1060)

I know but it is expensive and I wouldn't want a laptop with a gtx 1060 and decemt battery life to come out after.

If i could get any laptop now this is the one i would get buy the runors for the asus ux550 look niez

lols. lets see. Alienwares. Aeros. Dell 7567. That's it. pick one of those or none at all if u need battery life.

 

I dont consider the xps15 a performance laptop. 1050 is not enough.

Microsoft makes nice computers now, my friend has the surface pro 4 and it super cool light and portable. Also it's pretty fast, but I would like a little more power
