So my power supply isn't strong enough to run a gtx 1060 with all the other stuff, could I use my other psu outside of my case to only power the GPU inside the case. Srry if hard to understand

The GTX 1060 isn't a very demanding GPU, that if you have a PSU that isn't capable of powering a system with it, then chances are your power supplies are not properly equip to be used in a dual PSU application.

you can but you'd have to jumper yer 24 pin on the other psu( thats not plugged into the motherboard) to get it to work

There is more to it than that. Jumping PSUs works fine for things like pumps that have a 12V input, voltage delivery to components is more complicated than that, and the system won't boot correctly unless voltage is applied to all components simultaneously, i.e. when you push the power button, so you need some method of simultaneously firing the 5V rail that applies the start-up voltage on both PSUs when you press the power button.

If possible, you would be best served by replacing your current PSU with the 550W altogether. It should be more than enough for a 1060. I'm afraid I don't know anything about how to go about tearing down a G20. If you can't simply replace the current one, then you should use the external one to power all the components from outside the case. This is a ghetto solution, but necessary, I'm afraid.

Alternatively, you can use both PSUs as you suggested initially using an ATX splitter of some kind, such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/Vantacor-Dual-Adapter-Cable-2-way/dp/B00DL3L2J6. But if you just jumper the external power supply, the PC won't boot properly.

I would look at just getting a single PSU that can do the job, less faffing around and less chances for instability issues.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
