Best Budget Laptops?

Im looking for a laptop to use for watching youtube/tv shows, No gaming or editing involved. I would like to spend 400$ or less, an SSD would be nice but is a long shot, if not no big deal. 

 

Any ideas?

Been checking around for one too. At that price though it's hard to find a decent processor. The best one is a Pentium with 4 cores, 4 threads, but sadly only accepts 8 GB of RAM. It may be possible to find one with i3, but only on discounts.

I was in the same boat, and decided to go with a refurbished laptop after scouring Wal-Mart/Best Buy/Target and all my local Pawn Shops.

 

I ended up going with a HP Elitebook 8770w with these specs. 

 

That's more then enough for me. I'm not really into PC games, just wanted one for general computing, school, organizing music and using as a plex server.

 

Only cost $380 USD.

 

There's a lot of good laptops in that market that are a lot better then the low budget ones at retail stores.

I got a refurbished workstation laptop for my CAD work and gaming, stil kicking and going strong for over a year and the worst part is: it's HP. I got it extremely cheap too! Refurbished ones are the way to go.
