So I need to buy a new phone and I don't know which one to choose.

I need it to last at least 3 years without any problems and, I'm gonna use the camera mainly to shoot videos. (The 1+ has Optical an electronic image stabilisation, but I don't know if that makes a difference)

Now I have a few questions-

1) Is 1 GB RAM too less on the iPhone?

2) What about the speed while multitasking?

3) And finally battery life.

Please help me in making the decision guys!

Thanks in advance!

1. No, IOS is really optimized

2. It a bit laggy  with multi tasking not as smooth as OnePlus3T

3. OnePlus 3T

Thanks! :) Seem like OnePlus 3T is leading, but I still need info on the camera

The video you linked is image comparison, I'm looking for video comparison as I'm gonna shoot more videos than take pictures. I did search for 6 vs 3T on YouTube, but most of them were 6S (or 6S+) vs 3T! Anyways thanks for answering my questions!

most people were comparing it to the 6S because that was the phone it was competing with and it has similar performance to a 6S :)

Hmm...So that means the 3T is superior to the  iPhone 6?

But what about Durability?

I know iPhones can last many years without problems, but I have no clue about OnePlus phones!.

Any idea about that?

ill go with oneplus 3t without thinking if i was u, 6gb of ram is more then needed in android , while 2gb of ram is fair when it comes to ios ,also when u go with the price oneplus is giving u more fair deal then iphone ,, u pay for high hardware specs while apple is overpricing law specs hardware.

physically the oneplus is really strong and it hopefully gets android 8 (right around the corner), iPhone 6 was notorious for bending, but for most people that wasn't a big deal.

also iPhones usually get around 4 years of updates (iphone 4S got iOS 9, but it was really laggy), so 3 years of actually good updates which is slightly more than android but android had more of the features that you or me probably need.

android can be updated much longer, oneplus is really good for custom rom's etc.

Comparing iOS device vs Android is a bit pointless.

I have iPhone just because I like iOS and got used to it.

yeah, I agree oneplus is great and I have an OP3 myself, it's super fast 30 minute 60% 50-60 100% quick charging was really a game changer for me :)

How would you both rate the video recording?

Does the Optical and Electronic Image stabilisation in the OnePlus help?

And what about the iPhone? Which one do you have by the way?

I have iPhone SE, and it works just great. Photos that I take with it are also pretty good.

I was never dissapointed with iphone camera quality. Except the front one, but I don't even use it so w/e

Hmm....One more thing, does the iPhone camera app have options for manual settings (Like focus, shutter speed, etc.....). Or at least any app available in the store which can do this?

(If  that is possible) Is it possible to manually change focus during video recording?

Thanks xD
