i made sure vsync is off, and usually 70-80 for gpu and 100 for cpu on bf1 (lower on other games). The usuage levels were the same before, kinda sucks tho now

I have been playing overwatch a bit, and I didn't notice any FPS differences in last few months.

You can try to reinstall games, or use DDU to reinstall GPU drivers. Also you can reinstall Windows and see if that solves the problem.

Not sure what else can you do. But if your CPU is at 100% load .... well that as much FPS as you will be able to get. Same goes for GPU.

Hey Everyone:

I have an i5 6500 paired with a gtx 1070, in december I was hitting 90-100 fps avg in bf1 (low settings), and 120-130 fps in overwatch (ultra). Now I'm barely able to hit above 60 fps in both games at the same settings. Anyone know what's up?

Thanks, guys!

hows the dust side of things?

what are temps like?

is anything else running on your system? (this is where the 'check for virusses/malware' comes in)

practically no dust, under gaming cpu max is 39 C, gpu is 40 to 50, I ran Malwarebytes and i came up clean

Might sound dumb, but did you turn on V-sync by mistake and locked your fps to around 60 ?

Other explanation would be updates for games .... it's possible that game became more demanding with new updates, but to be fair it seems kinda weird that it gives you 2x lower fps now.

What is your CPU and GPU usage while gaming?
