Hey Guys,

I've been out of the pc world for a couple years and was planning on building a new pc. I was just wondering what parts you guys would suggest for a £1500-£1700 budget. I plan on playing at 1440p for the time being but maybe 4k in the future depending on cost. If possible I'm aiming for a black/red theme (already have a black and red h440).

Thanks in advance guys I never realised how much things have changed!

This is a really solid build, you can play high refresh rate 1440p or 60-100 fps 4k on it easy peasy.  GPU is RGB and a can of black plasti dip will make it fit perfectly without voiding warranty

Its a bit too expensive :/ The conversion made it about 2000 (stupid uk pricing).

How does that look? I could stretch to a 1080 if it's worthwhile.

Honestly ryzen would give you better performance and also runs cooler
