Well, to start, that's a right triangle on top of a rectangle. The interior angles of a triangle sum up to 180, and since it's a right triangle you know that the third angle is 90 degrees, and you also know that the bottom angle is actually the angle in the triangle plus the angle in the rectangle. That lets you construct an algebraic equation that you can solve for X, then just plug it into the expressions for the angles.

x divided by 2 and 7 times x

so 90+90 = 180 then you got 180 left

so 180 = (x/2)+(7x)

then you gotta find x

you need to isolate x so you gotta divide by 7 and times 2. To both sides of the =
