I am in need of some serious upgrade of my old computer, but one thing that has driven me crazy in the GPU. I am a Nvidia fan at heart, but some AMD GPUs look better, any recommendations???

Get a used 7970.

Or if you still want Nvidia, a used 660 Ti, 670 or 680.

GTX 1050TI no contest. I have the superclocked one from evga and it is absolutely awesome. Best budget gpu overall and it takes no extra power connectors!

RX 480/580 and GTX 1060 6GB are way better

1050TI only good for OEM PCs or system with a not so good PSU but still wants to turn into a gaming machine

1060 or RX 580. If you wanna max out your budget, get a cheap 1070.

Aren't most 1070s over $300? And the fury x is old as hell and costs a lot. And dude 980ti's are like $500 wtf

Nobody in their right mind. But he said nothing about buying them used.

And I haven't seen any. Which models?

They are brand new, but it's quiet rare to find those deals. Regular now starting at 350 but used ones should be no problem at $300
