Hi, im wondering if anyone invested time in creating a DDR4 RAM Database. Im having alot of trouble choosing RAM and find clear specifications. Things im looking for aren't "CL, Freqenzy" and stuff, rather important is how the RAM is build ss/ds, single/dual ranked as well as the manufacturer of the IC and stuff. How you guys can even decide which RAM to buy if you cant find out anything about it? The manufacturers keep almost everything as hidden as possible, i mean even reviewers on youtube and techsites dont even mention that stuff. They should make laws to force manufacturers to reveal the specifical technical data of there products.

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x3D | MoBo: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk | RAM: G.Skill F4-3600C15D-16GTZ @3800CL16 | GPU: RTX 2080Ti | PSU: Corsair HX1200 |

Case: Lian Li 011D XL | Storage: Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe 500GB, Crucial MX500 500GB | Soundcard: Soundblaster ZXR | Mouse: Razer Viper Mini | Keyboard: Razer Huntsman TE Monitor: DELL AW2521H @360Hz |

If it isn't Samsung B-die it isn't worth thinking about, all the serious overclockers use B-die and E-die, so don't worry about it. The main IC manufactures are Samsung, Hynix-SK and Micron, That is almost 70% of the market.

Yours faithfully

Googling the model number along with "Samsung" or "Hynix" will also sometimes lead to a Malaysian or Russian overclocking site with info.

Take everything with a grain of salt as this could change at any time (G.skill uses a mix of different IC's for its midrange products, and Corsair loves making running changes to products without changing the name).
