Mac Pro 2009 Liquid Cooling

Hi, Is it possible to add liquid cooling to a 2009 Mac Pro and Will this be usefull or is the built in air cooling suficient?

I'd say you would be better off saving the money for a newer machine. I also think you would run into a lot of clearance and space issues, along with finding waterblocks that fit.

Look at the insides of a Mac Pro 2009, I don't think doing a custom loop or even using an AIO would be easy. Most pre-built workstations, even famous HP Z800 series workstations, have custom layout and compartments inside that may make it difficult to add your own custom liquid cooling setup.

As the above comment stated, you are better off building a new rig using a case that's designed for proper liquid or air cooling ventilation with sufficient clearance and room inside.
