Display Port vs HDMI

Plug the cables in and no signal message on screen, and my old monitor I had to stop using HDMI because the screen would go black for a few seconds every now and then

Did you ever look into how they were broken more than that or did you at least get them fixed?

Was easier to switch to DVI.

I hate when people have broken stuff and dont get it fixed especially if its under warranty, sorry.

Display port is infinately better, if only it was on everything like HDMI is.

Warrenty was up, and $60 for a new board is not worth it to me when I can just switch the cable I am using.

I know, but in my imaginary world all the TVs are actually 120hz and have displayport.

I have both DVI's and DisplayPort on three ASUS monitors and HDMI on the large screen TV for watching movies and such.
