need some help with ram.

Go to solution Solved by Mira Yurizaki,

Higher speed RAM probably wouldn't hurt, but you also probably won't notice a difference.

Also how much money are you willing to spend?

so i will be getting AMD Athlon X4 870K latter this year and a Asus A88XM-A/USB 3.1 motherboard and i will use a gtx 1050 gpu. i was thinking to get Kingston DDR3L 4GB 1600MHz Non-ECC CL11 DIMM 1.35V ram. Will this ram be good or should i get a higher clocked? i have i3 550 and asus p7h55 motherboard and 2x2 1600 ram. i want to get ram first motherboard and cpu second so that when i get the cpu and mobo i could use my egzisting ram. i plan on getting full 16gigs of ram on all 4 slots.

Some people told me to wait for ryzen 3 and get that but i saw that it will need high speed ddr4 ram and a more expensive mobo wich will be to expensive for me so this idea is out of the window.

mabie anyone has any other sugestions for ram, cpu or mobo?

on ram i will spend 100 on full kit

Yeah, $100 for a complete system feels out of the question. At best, you just open up an upgrade path by going to a cheapo Intel system with maybe 8GB of RAM, but who knows how long that'll take to get said upgrade?
