Hello i have a customer that wants a pretty decent computer, he is doing work in 3ds max and Premiere.

So what he wants is 2x Samsung 960 500GB PCIe m.2 SSD's in RAID 0 for the speed.

What we are thinking of now is this build:

CPU: i7-6900K

RAM: Crucial Ballistix DDR4 64GB White 2400MHz

GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Ti Armor OC

CPU FAN: Noctua NH-D15

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3, 1000W PSU

SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 500GB M.2 PCIe SSD

However we are finding it hard to find a LGA-2011-3 socket motherboard that supports 2x M.2 in raid 0.

QUESTION:

Does anyone have any tips for builds that will be as powerful as this with the addition of 2x M.2 in raid 0?

Why would you buy a 6900k when the 1800x exists.

We are doing air cooling, we have a budget of 3500dollars.

This computer is for 3DS max editing and video editing.

That ought to do nicely.

Let me know if anything there doesn't work for you.
