Need help choosing a cooler for 5820k

ast00

I need help (duh).

I have an AIO on my i7 5820K (X99), and the water pump just failed. Oh, and my warranty expired 2 months ago.

Long story short, I'm looking to move back to air cooling as a more reliable solution.

I'm aiming for max 75 C° at 3.6 GHz, and it would be nice if I didn't go deaf sitting next to the PC.

My budget for this is around the equivalent of 60 US dollars tops, but I would be much happier with less money spent.

Any help would be appreciated.

I live in the wrong country. I have to modify my price range to 60 dollars tops, because my country adds 27% tax AND a 20% markup on top of that.

Why shop with USD in that case? Where are you shopping/located?

Why are you looking for such a low peak temp and low clock speed?

I'm shopping in Hungary. I gave a US price, because most people probably know the value of their coolers in USD, but not in HUF.

I'm probably going to go higher in clock speed. I just don't know how much I can expect from air cooling and I was afraid that giving a higher clock speed target would result in people saying that only water can achieve that.

You can usually achieve 4.3ghz+ with air cooling and only need liquid for 4.5ghz+. It will mainly depend on how well your chip oc's though.

Using USD doesn't make much sense if that's not the currency you're actually using. Can you link us to where you're shopping?
