That it's a adapter for laptops to install egpu without thunderbolt 3

that wont work

i dont really understand i think you would want an external graphics enclosure but i guess you dont have thunderbolt

but did you check to make sure you have a 1x slot?

thats a normal pcie

most laptops have mobile pcie

also where would you find an empty pcie slot in a laptop?

that uses pcie 1x standard?

they usually use micro-pcie or m.2

also it might not work because that was not the intended purpose for that slot

Mmhh I need more research.

But let's say I have done it. I'm afraid just for the performance because we are talking about intel celeron n2840 cpu.

meh the 630 sucks anyway so you would just have a slightly less crappy laptop that you can't take anywere

also how would you power it? you would need to take a power supply, bridge the atx cable and then plug in a molex and whatever else it needs, further ruining the portable concept of the laptop

i mean i guess if you dont care about that go ahead its a cheap upgrade but still

that adapter used mpcie, not pcie 1x

that one would probably work, as long as your laptop's wifi card is mpcie and not m.2

the thing you found is most likely for bitcoin mining, with the ability to connect many graphics cards to a motherboard and have them all be able to breathe + use all the slots

So I have to check my laptop specs for a mpcie?
