hey guys, if i used this: [eBay link removed]

would i still need to provide extra power to my gpu via the six pin connection? Im pretty sure i would but im not sure

What gpu? if it has power plugs on it then yeah most likely, most(if not all) cards only have one on when they require more than the 75watts that the PCIe slot gives. USB 3.0 can give up to 100 watts, so you might be able to do it.

its a 1060 and yeah i figures as much its just the description hints at it not needing it given the molex power
