Removing microsoft admin account.

So I've been having issues with being able to use the windows store and one of the troubleshooting step that i'm now on is to sign out of my microsoft admin account and log back in.Thing is,in order to do that I need to first "remove" the profile.Basically I just wanted to know what would happen upon doing this.Would I lose anything/be locked out of something of value or would it only be the profile that vanishes from my pc ?I know it sounds like a REALLY  stupid question but I don't know much about software especially something as in-depth as  an OS hence why i'm making sure before doing anything.

Couldn't you just create a new account, log into that, and then log back into the original?

I tried and it didn't do anything. The whole problem is that I can't connect into the xbox app which blocks me out of the windows store games.People have suggested removing the account entirely.

Just make a copy of your user directory and save it somewhere that isn't part of your profile (an example being a second drive or the root of your C drive). Afterwards you can just merge backup with your new user directory.

if you're removing the profile by going to your pc properties - advanced system settings - and under user profiles, stuff that's gonna be removed are all those folders in C:\users\yourProfileName which are documents, pictures, videos and Everything else in there, basically *yourProfileName* folder will be gone. there are also hidden folders in there like AppData which may store your outlook files if you have emails configured. some other application data stuff as well. some game saves might be saved in your documents folder so they'll be gone too. your store stuff are probably in the AppData folder which will be gone too, but the store thing uses cloud saves i suppose? they should automatically restore once you login back to your account.
