Suggestions on a camera

Hey guys I want to start filming I also want to take very nice pictures the filming I will mainly do edits with it as in syncing it with music and stuff like that I was thinking of getting this camera https://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-G3-Digital-Camera/dp/B00ZM1E46I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1492978505&sr=8-3&keywords=canon+g3x but you cant swap the lens any suggestions? thx! im not a photographer myself byt my photographer freind has a canon rebel t6i and he says it's pretty good

What sort of filming do you wanna do? Any requirements on the resolution and framerates? 

 

What conditions, lighting what's the subject etc.?

Some more info could be good. But the Panasonic G7 are a quite popular choice. Otherwise I would look at the Canon lineup. Thats if you want a interchangable lens camera. If you plan or may in the future buy lenses this would be the way to go as you can get some creative effects with different lenses. However if you don't think you will buy more lenses I think a point and shoot as the Sony RX100 is a bette option.
