How can i disable the HDD led on the Define S?

Cyberspirit

I love this case but i really dislike the Blue HDD led since it doesn't match with anything else in my build which is black and white/silver themed.

It would be great if there was a way to disable it through the BIOS but if not then that's cool as long as there is a way to do so without harming anything.

haha

its just electricity being bumped from the motherboard to that led through wires, and the motherboard controls when its on / off by hard disk activity through the OS talking to the motherboard, going give me data x on drive y

hdd led + and - (Its DC so, you need both to operate)

I unplugged both but the led still lights up when the hard drive loads.

Can that be disabled too?

you need to unplug the hard drive led, not the power led..

theres no way that a hdd led should be on if its unplugged..

Disconnecting both the Power and the HDD one did the trick.

Thanks :)
