Buying a temporary monitor

DankMemesSucc

My current, 4 years old monitor(DELL U2312HM)is slowly dying and in a month or so I should have a new PC with GTX 1070. I thought about buying a Gsync monitor, but they are really expensive and I can't afford it right now. I thought about buying a cheap, normal monitor for now and in a few months/a year from now I'll buy a good Gsync monitor without sparing money and give the normal monitor to my sister or even sell it/save it in case something happens to my Gsync monitor.

Any recommendations for a cheap, good monitor? I thought about AOC G2460VQ6. Pretty damn cheap and has a nice response time. I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to monitors, or any PC related hardware for that matter. So I need your help.

Keep current monitor, and then save up. Or wait a bit for vega for your GPU and then get a freesync monitor. (They are loads cheaper.)

Dell monitors are tanks so. not a worry.

I'd just keep the current monitor for as long as possible. Those Dell displays are pretty damn tough, even the older ones.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

Thanks guys!

And if I buy a new monitor it won't be with my money and I won't owe any money. So it won't effect me saving up for a new screen.

Also, something a tad bit unrelated - My current monitor is really filthy. Any idea on how to clean it efficiently?

Well, I think I might've exaggerated, but sometimes it has this kind of weird greenish static when I scroll down in certain colored pages. It constantly has a redish(very weak red, it's still visible)wavey screen problem on some of the right side of the screen. Sorry that if I'm having trouble describing it currectly, english is not my native tongue.

EDIT: Oh crap, sorry if double posting is not allowed, I'm not really used to it not being allowed.
