$1500 Gaming PC

So i came up with this build after several suggestions from the forums, this will be my first ever build and want to make sure my investment pays off. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2gXsCy , i was wondering if the motherboard is fine and is the CPU cooler going to be enough. Keep in mind i'd like it to be fan cooled only, so i added to fans to put on the case. Should i change my motherboard, CPU cooler and/or add more fans?

Your parts are excellent, I would personally cheap on the processor going with the i7 7700 on a b250 motherboard and stock cooler to allow room for a GTX 1080 as this will provide better gaming performance once even the locked i7 still can provide sufficient performance for such high end GPU such as the 1080.

 

But nothing wrong in keeping it as it is... the only thing you MUST get rid off is that SSD... that and shit are the same thing, read the article below:

Reconsider your ssd. Buy a 240 gb of samsung, crucial or sandisk. These are good options

Personally, two fans are enough but you can buy one more if you have some extra bucks

Oh god that's a terrible SSD. A couple other changes there as well. Think about budgeting for a good monitor too.

Just a note the M9i is probably not enough for an overclock, it lands just below the already dreadful 212 EVO. I made that slight tweak while giving a better value case (just as good, but $55)

The NEX from EVGA is built to last forever, but it sure won't help your components last forever, because it doesn't deliver very clean power. Its voltage goes quite a bit over and under the normal 12V / 5V that your components should be receiving. Instead grab something with better voltage regulation like pretty much all the PSUs on the thread. The EVGA G2 is actually quite a bit better.

Yeah that would work. 750W is a lot and you could do a 1080 Ti on 650W. Or 550W even, but it's cutting it close.
