So... I only ordered 7 For my team. Did Verizon really make a $24,000 Order mistake?

I wonder why these haven't changed their order status...

(I'm sure not everyone will believe me, so im going to find a way to take a screen shot of all these with my #s blocked out.)

Moving on, what do y'all think about Dex and its use with AWS? Amazon Workstations, other than being ridiculously expensive, has worked wonders in my experience. Being able to use your phone for access to a virtual machine with a keyboard and mouse is a very cool prospect... Until you see that the ethernet port on the dock is only 100Mb. Why not gigabit???

Yes and no. Normally in my corporate set ups, anything that can be connected to ethernet (towers, servers, voip, etc...) is to take the load off of wi-fi access points. Regardless, not having gigabit ethernet is just an odd choice...

I handled an s8/plus the other day. I STILL dont get the curved screen appeal. It just feels like the curved part of the display is useless, it doesnt look or feel right.

In addition the screen looks a lot smaller than its listed size. A 6.2 inch screen should look HUGE, but it didnt look noticeably larger than my iphone 7 plus display. Maybe because its taller rather than wider, along with them counting the curved part.

You are right on point about taller vs wider. Another aspect is the infinity display with greatly reduced bezel size.

My first curved phone was the Blackberry PRIV. On that phone the curve was so gradual that it really ate up a lot of the screen size. I hated it. I was super apprehensive about getting another curved phone for this exact reason. I forget the phone, I think it was a Samsung, that first had the one edge curved, they advertised it could be used to get notifications during meetings and some bs like that. The only actual use I can see from a curved screen.

But... What can I say... I'm a consumer whore and feel bad about not spending all my money to have the latest release phone.

Then buying a case to downgrade its features to where I feel most comfortable.
